Is this the same as instant coffee?

Not even close. Instant coffee is spray-dried or freeze-dried powder, the process strips most of the flavour and aroma. STIR is brewed liquid concentrate made from specialty Arabica. It tastes like real coffee, because it is real coffee.

Do I need any special equipment?

Nothing. No espresso machine, no French press, no filter setup. Just the concentrate, a cup, and whatever liquid you have in your kitchen. A 10 ml measuring spoon is included with every order.

How long does it last?

1 year sealed. Once opened, store it sealed and refrigerated, it stays fresh for 20 days. At 10 ml per cup, a 200 ml pouch gives you about 20 cups.

Can I customize the strength?

Absolutely. Our base ratio is 10 ml concentrate to 90 ml liquid, but experiment freely. More concentrate for a bolder cup, less for something lighter. There's no wrong answer.
